<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the discharge of white smoke by increasing the flow speed of exhaust gas by a nozzle and turning the exhaust gas on the periphery of an inner cylinder inside an outer cylinder and liquefying and extracting the uncombusted component in the exhaust gas by utilizing the centrifugal force. CONSTITUTION:In the low speed low temperature revolution region of an engine, a selector valve 24 is switched through a motor 26 by a controller 27 on the basis of the detection signals of a variety of sensors 28 - 30, and the first exhaust pipe 21 is opened, and the second exhaust pipe 22 is closed. Accordingly, the exhaust gas supplied from an exhaust manifold 17 is blown into the part between the inner and outer cylinders 11 and 12 from a nozzle 14, and the uncombusted portion is separated by the centrifugal force to be liquefied. The liquefied component is stored into a storage tank 20 through a discharge port 18 and a discharge pipe 19 from a liquid reservoir 16. While, the pure exhaust gas is discharged into the atmosphere through the third exhaust pipe 23 from a through hole 13 on the inner cylinder 11. Further, in the intermediate or high speed revolution region of the engine, the selector valve 24 is switched again, and the exhaust gas is introduced as it is into the second exhaust pipe 22.</p> |
