摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a small size and simple semiconductor radiation detector by superposing third and fourth metallic films on signal pickup first and second metallic films on both side surfaces of the detector, energizing between the first and the third films to cool it and detecting the temperature with the second and fourth films as thermocouple. CONSTITUTION:Fe 13 and Au 14 are respectively covered on Al 11 and Cu 12 to become signal pickup electrodes of a detector 1. Cooling action is carried out by Peltier effect of the contact of Al 11-Fe 13, and thermocouple action by Seebeck effect by the contact of the Cu 12-Au 14 is performed. A heat dissipation plate 15 is contacted with an Fe film 13 to improve the coolig efficiency. The potential between the films 12 and 14 is detected by a temperature measuring system 6 through a switch 9 to measure the temperature of the element. The leads 21-24 are made of the same material as the metallic films 11-14 respectively connected thereto. With this structure the detector can be readily reduced in size and simplified in structure, and a temperature monitoring can be accurately carried out.
