PURPOSE:To prevent the basis of tile from causing the deviation of position in a calcining process by a method wherein a boss is provided on the mount surface of the tile and the basis of the tile to be calcined is put on the mount surface so that a recess, formed on the rear surface of the basis, coincides with the boss on the mount surface. CONSTITUTION:The mount surface 2 of a tile on a calcining table 1 is formed so as to be a curved surface copying the rear surface 5 of the basis 4 of the tile while a boss 3 is provided at the top 2a of the mount surface 2 of the table. On the other hand, a recess 6 is formed on the rear surface 5 of the basis 4 of the curved tile so as to obtain a relation heat the recess 6 can be engaged with the boss 3. When the basis 4 of the curved tile is calcined, the basis 4 of the curved tile is put on the mount surface 2 of the tile of the calcining table 1 so that the recess 6 in said engaging relation coincides with the boss 3. According to this method, the movement of the basis 4 of the curved tile on the mount surface 2 of tile of the calcining table 1 is precluded and there is no possibility that the basis 4 of the curved tile causes the deviation of position even when the varieties of temperature are caused in the basis during calcining and the condition of expansion and contraction is different on the front and rear surfaces of the basis 4. |
