Dustproof transparent member

摘要

A dustproof transparent member is fitted to a window in an optical system container of e.g. an optical scanning unit in a laser beam printer. On the surface of the dustproof transparent member, a layer of transparent conductive material is formed. The body of the printer and the dustproof transparent member are electrically connected to make their electric potentials equal, thereby preventing floating substances in the atmosphere from electrostatically sticking to the dustproof transparent member.
