PURPOSE:To obtain an atoxic and useful substance free from elution by immobilizing glucuronic acid to the surface of insoluble carrier by amide bond. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic vinyl-based copolymer including a homopolymer of styrene or alpha-methylstyrene is molded into a molded article such as a laboratory dish, bottle, film, fiber, hollow fiber, granule, etc. Aminomethyl group is introduced to the surface of the molded article to give a light transmitting insoluble carrier (A) having <=3 absorbance at 500-70nm wavelength in >=100mu thickness. Then the component A is immersed in a mixed solution of glucuronic acid and carbodiimide and immobilized to produce a treating agent (B) of blood cell. Optionally the component B is cultured while bringing the component B into contact with leukocyte to produce a cytokinin which is an interleukin such as interleukin-1 and a colony stimulating factor such as GM-CFS. |
