<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a hydraulic composition which gives a hardened body having high strength and good water resistance by compounding blast furnace slag powder, water-soluble polymers and alkali material. CONSTITUTION:The hydraulic composition consists of blast furnace slag powder, water-soluble polymers and alkali material. The blast furnace slag powder is prepared by a method that molten slag which is produced in the production process of pig iron is rapidly cooled with water or air to obtain vitreous material and then this vitreous material is pulverized and dried. Generally, slag powder having the specified surface area of >=2000cm<2>/g Blaine value is used. The water-soluble polymers are water-soluble polymers having a carboxylic group and/or amide group in its molecule, cellulose deriv., polyvinyl acetate deriv, soluble starch, polyethyleneoxide, etc. An aggregate of fine particles is used to prepare the composition as a good embodiment.</p> |
