[Classes 22 and 70] Lightweight plaster boards are formed by encasing in paper a cementitious substance such as plaster of Paris mixed with comminuted fibrous material consisting of lignified fibres and parenchymatous cellulosic tissue such as occur together in bagasse. The lignified fibres and the cellulosic material may, however, be obtained from independent materials, the former from flaxes and millets, sisal hemp, liquorice root, coir &c. and the latter from algae. An aeration process such as is described in Specification 523,264 may be applied to the material.</p> |
