PURPOSE:To obtain a sensor structure which is excellent in heat resistance and is easy to manufacture by providing an engaging recess to electrically connect and fix a lead to an electrode lead by fitting the lead into an edge of a detection part. CONSTITUTION:A lead connection part 20 of an oxygen sensor is formed with an engaging recess 32 for fixing a lead frame 21 by a method wherein a ceramic plate 19b provided with a comb-like end is interposed between both outer ceramic plates 19a, 19d. An end of the lead is bent in a J-shape, whose end is engaged with a frame 33 of a window 31 to have the lead frame 21 fixed. Since a metallized layer 34 composed of platinum is formed on an inner surface of the engaging recess 32, the metallized layer 34 makes conduction between the lead frame 21 and an electrode pattern 35 or a heater pattern of a detection part. |
