PURPOSE:To reproduce a musical sound which is given a vibrato with high fidelity to a natural musical instrument by using a filter with variable characteristics as a filter arranged in a delay feedback loop and varying the characteristics of this filter according to a signal indicating the imposition of modulation. CONSTITUTION:A waveform signal which is supplied to a waveform signal transmission part 75 is fed back to the adder 711 of a musical sound control signal input part 71 through the delay loop composed of delay circuits SR1-SRN and SR1'-SRN'and junction circuits J1-JN. At this time, the waveform signal is delayed corresponding to the total time of set delay quantities d1-dN and the waveform signal after being passed through the junction circuit JN is deformed according to the characteristics of a low-pass filter 751. Then the characteristics of the filter 751 are varied to modulate a musical sound to be generated. Consequently, the musical sound which is given the vibrato is reproduced with the high fidelity to the natural musical instrument. |
