PURPOSE:To protect a life raft from an ice board by joining a bottom plate and a side plate, made of a rigid substance, with the surroundings of an expansion type life raft so that the side plate is rotatable in a given angle range to form ice resisting equipment. CONSTITUTION:Ice resisting equipment comprises a side plate A divided into a plurality of sections, and a single bottom plate B with which the bottom of the side plate A is coupled by means of hinges. By utilizing a mounting metal I for a raft hanging rope E, located in the vicinity of the hinge part, the grasping rope mounting part is tied with a rope and mounted on the life raft. A metal G for traction and a wire H are mounted on the bottom part of ice resisting equipment, and this constitution tows the life raft among pieces of floating ice and on an ice board. |
