<p>PURPOSE:To improve picture quality in recording of images in continuous gradation by a method image data are read out of storage means in serial order, and a driving means for liquid crystal linear array and a driving means for photosensitive recording media are controlled so that the liquid crystal linear array is driven in accordance with the reading-out of the image data and exposure is made whenever the photosensitive recording media is moved by a length for one picture element. CONSTITUTION:An image signal circuit 40 converts inputted image signals into digitized image data and stores them in a frame memory 42. A control circuit 50 controls a roller drive circuit 56 so that the rollers feed photosensitive recording sheets 22 to a place right under a liquid crystal linear array 16 and, at the same time, drives a light source drive circuit 54 so that a light source 10 is switched on, and emitted light 11 is the guided to the liquid crystal linear array 16 in a form of parallel ray. The control circuit then controls the frame memory 42 so that the image data are read out of the memory, and also controls a liquid crystal linear array drive circuit 44 and a roller drive circuit 56 so that the liquid crystal linear array 16 is driven in accordance with the reading-out of the image data, and the photosensitive recording sheet 22 is moved with rollers in the direction F and exposure is made whenever the photosensitive recording sheet 22 is moved by a length for one picture element. Thereby the image for each one of the picture frames is recorded as latent image and is visualized by means of developing rollers, 32a, 32b and with a fixing device into a black and white image.</p> |
