PURPOSE:To prevent the breaking and bending of the laser probe near the inlet of a forceps port by curing a part of a resin tube used for the outer tube of the laser probe contg. an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The optical fiber 1 of a silver halide system is housed into a protective tube 2 made of silicone rubber and the optical fiber 1 is inserted into a metallic chip 4 holding a window 3, to which the protective tube 2 is connected. The outside tube 5 ' of fluoroplastic cured by irradiating the other part excepting the range of about 10cm from the front end with radiations is press fitted and fixed to adhere and fix the front end chip 6 to the metallic chip 4. Since a part of the resin tube used for the outside pipe of the laser probe is cured, the mechanical strength is improved and the bending of the laser probe near the inlet of the forceps port is prevented. |
