<p>The circuit for displaying both of Koreany and English characters on the LCD panel by using the 5x7 dot matrix cell for English characters, symbols and separated Korean characters, and the 10x14 dot matrix cell for combined Korean characters includes a displayer (16) composed of the 5x7 dot matrix and the 10x14 matrix, a data/program memory (13) for combining the separated Korean characters to the combined characters, and a central processing unit (12) for applying the basic font data stored in a memory (14) to a LCD display driver (15) to display the fonts on a display panel (16).</p> |
