PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of a sealing fluid to the outside through the adhered surface of the first seal ring and the second seal ring by contacting and fixing the whole surface of the flange of the flange of the second seal ring by contacting and fixing the whole surface of the flange of the second seal ring at the other member side, with the first seal ring. CONSTITUTION:The flange 14 of the second seal ring 5 being at a housing 3 (the other side member) side, that is, an end surface E at the outer peripheral side is contacted and fixed to a fitting part 10 of the first seal ring 4 along the whole periphery with an adhesive. And when a rotary shaft 2 is rotated, the atmosphere D is sucked along a groove 15 by the theory of a screw pump, a sealing fluid B is sealed, and when the shaft 2 is stopped, the fluid B is stopped by a seal lip 8. In such an operation, even though the fluid B invades in a clearance F through the sealing surface with the shaft 2 by deterioration of the lip 8, the end surface E of the flange 14 of the ring 5 is contacted closely to the fitting part 10 of the ring 4, and thereby, it acts a role of sealing actually, and the fluid B has no fear of leaking to the atmospher D side. |
