<p>PURPOSE:To prevent chips from their splash at riveting time on a composite material and to execute a consecutive process compactly with good efficiency, by connecting a dust collecting duct with a first bush in which a drill is inserted being made freely movable forward and backward in the punching direction, and composing a second bush of the opposite side freely movably forward and backward in the orthogonal direction to the punching. CONSTITUTION:A drill 4 is inserted into a bush 10, after positioning so that a backup bush 21 becomes coaxial with the bush 10 by contacting the end face of the drill bush 10 onto a work 2b at the punching position of workpieces 2a, 2b. A through hole 30 for inserting a lock pin is then punched, when the drill 4 is advanced while guiding it by the bush 10 in the workpieces 2a, 2b directions while rotating the drill 4. The chips caused hereby are discharged by passing through a torsional groove on the drill 4 outer periphery and sucked to a dust collecting duct 15 from the hole 13 of the bush 10. The drill 4 is then stopped with its retreat, after the tip coming in to the bush 21 from the work 2a after completion of the drilling. Thereafter, a lock pin 5 is inserted with its centering to the through hole 30 by a positioning means 6 and a washer 31 is also fitted.</p> |
