PURPOSE:To allow the equipment to receive an incoming call even in the folded state with a small size, to enhance the operability at talking and to improve the portable performance by constituting the equipment with two large and small cases and adopting the structure for a stationary wire antenna provided to the smaller case such that the antenna is hidden in the larger case in the folded state. CONSTITUTION:The relations of L2>L1 and LW<=L2-L1 exists, where L1 is a length from a connection part 5 to an end of a radio equipment case 1, L2 is a length from the connection part 5 to an end of other radio equipment case 2 and LW is the length of a wire antenna 3. The wire antenna 3 is fitted to the smaller case 1 of the folded type portable radio equipment comprising two large/small cases 1, 2 whose length differs from each other and the wire antenna is structured to be hidden in the larger case in the folded state to attain small size, high antenna performance and excellent portable performance.
