Device for enabling a person to read in any position, lying or sitting. The invention relates to a device which enables a person to read in any position without holding the book. It consists of three arms (1), (2) and (4). Mounted on the end of the third arm (4) is a nut clamp (6) on which a plate for supporting a book is supported. This double system of a nut clamp enables the plate (7) to be adjusted to any desired position. Four arms are fitted to the plate. Two arms (8) hold the book. The other two arms (9), acting through a spring (II), apply pressure to keep the book at the desired page. The device is designed to enable a person to read in any position, lying or sitting. <IMAGE>
