PURPOSE:To eliminate the malodors of animal fibers, such as feathers and the uncomfortable smells of natural cotton and chemical cotton by incorporating the microorganisms to prohibit the growth of harmful microorganisms, such as malodors, into bedding. CONSTITUTION:The microorganisms to prohibit the growth of the harmful microorganisms, such as malodors, are exemplified by 'Biomagic powder(R)' and 'Biomagic Tape(R)' (both are trade names and are produced by L&G Co., Ltd.), etc. The bedding using the animal fibers, such as feathers and wool, vegetable fibers, such as natural cotton, and chemical fibers, such as polyester and polyamide, as the packing material is exemplified as the bedding. The method for incorporating the aerobic microorganisms to prohibit the growth of the harmful microorganisms includes a method for sticking or applying, for example, the 'Biomagic powder(R)' which is dissolved or suspended in water to packing materials, such as feathers, or foams, such as polyurethane foams and polyethylene foams, or further the surfaces of side clothing, external package, blankets, sheets, etc., by an immersion method, spraying method, etc., then drying the coating. |
