摘要 PURPOSE:To efficiently act the energy of a laser beam on the tissue of a human body so that the tissue can be incised by deviating the central axis of a probe body at a prescribed angle with the exit optical axis of the laser beam of a light guiding fiber. CONSTITUTION:The laser probe device is constituted by eccentrically connecting the laser probe body 1 and the optical fiber 4 via a probe mounting metal 2 and a metallic terminal fitting 3 of the optical fiber. An optical fiber mounting hole 31 of the metallic terminal fitting 3 of the optical fiber is formed at thetaangle of inclination with the central axis of the laser probe 1. Since the central axis 18 of the laser probe 1 is deviated by the prescribed angle theta with the laser beam exit optical axis 42 of the optical fiber 4, the exit distribution of the laser beam near the front end (f) of the probe body 1 is asymmetrical with the central axis 18 and since an energy concentrating part 16 is generated on the upper surface from the central axis 18 of the probe body 1, the use of the probe body 1 in an inclined state is possible and the efficient action of the exit energy of the laser beam (l) on the tissue of the human body is possible.
