The present invention relates to a method for achieving a cable conduit (4) into a hard foamed plastic insulating layer (3) of a preinsulated pipe element, right in the vicinity of a flow pipe (1) of the pipe element, which pipe element has a protective casing (2) surrounding the insulating layer (3). The invention is characterized in that before feeding and foaming the insulating layer (3) into a space between the flow pipe (1) and the protective casing (2), a releasing-agent coated, pressurized longitudinal elastic hose (5) is fixed outside the flow pipe (1), which hose is maintained at an elevated temperature during foaming and cooled rapidly after the foamed insulating material (3) has set, whereby the hose contracts and can be easily removed. |
