PURPOSE:To make improvement in electrostatic chargeability, image density and resolution and to provide a longer life by subjecting a polymerizable monomer to a suspension polymn. with magnetite and recithin as a dispersion stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:The polymerizable monomer is subjected to the suspension polymn. with the magnetite and recithin as the dispersion stabilizer in the presence of coloring agents or these agents and a toner characteristic improving agent. The amt. of the magnetite to be used is determined by the kind of the magnetite, the presence or absence of a surface treatment, and further the kinds or amts. of the coloring agent, the toner characteristic improving agent and the polymerizable monomer. The toner which is excellent in the resolution, image density and gradation characteristic, is also excellent in blocking resistance, electrostatic chargeability, durability, and moisture resistance, and has small particle sizes is obtd. in this way. |
