A power supply comprises a hollow member (6) for fixing on or in a piece of furniture or a wall (2). Conduction tracks (8), isolated from each other, run along at least one inner wall of the member (6). The member (6) has a longitudinal slot (7). Several current users (12) can be inserted in the member (6), each having a block cross section matching the inner space of the member (6) and contacts (10) for drawing current from the tracks (8). On part of the block accessible from outside there is at least one connector for a cable (16). A current-transimtting block (28) transmits current between the cable (16) and tracks (8) and contacts. USE/ADVANTAGE - Allows any number of power points to be created. Only occupies small space. Can be completely built within a wall or table or on the outside depending on the space available.
