PROCESS AND ARRANGEMENT FOR COLLECTING FOOD RESIDUES BELOW CAGE BAGS, TOGETHER WITH THE USE THEREOF

In a process for collecting particulate food residues which sink down below cage bags (10) in a breeding installation, there is positioned surroundingly and below the bottom portion of the cage bag (10) a collection arrangement (12) with a collection component (12) and a bottom outlet (16) from which the downwardly sinking particulate food residues are conducted through a conduit (18) to the surface for treating. The process is characterised in that a collection arrangement (12) is used where the collection component (14) is made of a bag net material with a mesh size in the region of from 0.2 to 1.0 cm, so that only particulate food residues above a given size are deposited at the outlet (16) and are led to the surface through the conduit (18), while other smaller particles together with excrements from the breeding fish can be flushed out through the meshes in the bag net material. There is also mentioned an arrangement for carrying out the process. The arrangement can preferably be used when the breeding fish are fed with medecine-containing food.
