The invention relates to a connection device enabling an insulated cable to be connected electrically without having to strip it, comprising a pair of jaws (4, 5) equipped with cutting members (9), at least some of which are conducting and are arranged so as to cut into a cable (1) inserted between the jaws and to penetrate its insulating jacket (3) as far as to touch its core (2) when the jaws are mutually moved closer together by tightening. These cutting members are constituted by flat teeth (9) joined together in pairs, the teeth of each pair offering cutting edges (10') in the form of an arc of a circle, these facing each other obliquely and symmetrically with respect to the direction of tightening of the jaws onto the cable; some of the teeth (9) have a conducting cutting edge (10') enabling electrical contact to be made with the core (2) of the cable. <IMAGE> |
