TERMINAL CONNECTION CONTROL SYSTEM

摘要

PURPOSE:To prevent the wrong file accesses in the on-line transactions by confirming the logical connection between a terminal and a host computer. CONSTITUTION:A stored terminal name 3 is previously read out and sent to a host computer 11 before the on-line job processing is started. The computer 11 inspects the received name 3 by reference to the network defining information 13 stored previously and starts the on-line job processing when the name 3 is proper. Thus it is possible to prevent the possibility of execution of the wrong on-line transactions when a mistake is produced in the connecting relation between a circuit and a terminal in regard of the network definition of the computer 11.
