The lifting table is for use between sections of a transport track at different heights for goods on skids etc. It comprises a lifting frame (18) lifted and lowered in a stationary one by eccentric lifting members. They are driven from a power unit (10) in the stationary frame via endless chains or belts (15,16). Seen in plan view, the belts or chains are outside the stationary frame. The lifting frame is pref. arranged to rest by gravity on the lifting members.
