PURPOSE: To separate, refine, and identify a compound having affinity to at least two ligands from a specimen by bringing biaffinity involving two ligands which the compound has affinity into contact with the specimen. CONSTITUTION: A specimen involving an object compound is brought into contact with biaffinity column involving two ligands which the compound combines with so that it may remove. The column is brought into contact with one of the ligands so that it may depart. The compounds are brought into contact with the first eluate which elutes. The column is brought into contact with the second eluate which elutes a compound combining the other ligand so that it may depart. Preferably, this procedures are continued sufficiently in different ways until a part which does not need the specimen has been removed. The target compound is recovered by bringing the eluate which elutes the compound combined with both the ligands so that it may depart with the column. It is thus possible to separate, refine, and identify the compound which has affinity with at least two ligands from the specimen. |
