In a process for manufacturing tubes from a prefabricated pipe body, heated plastic blanks are pressed to form a multilayer tube head which is connected to the pipe body at the same time. According to the invention, each layer of the multilayer tube head is produced separately by pressing a newly fed plastic blank; the next blank for the following layer is then fed and pressed if the previously made layer is dimensionally stable. The invention also relates to a tube consisting of a pipe body (1) comprising at least one layer of plastic, and a multilayer tube head (2) formed on the latter by pressing heated plastic blanks. The multilayer tube head has a neck part (8) which opens into a central outlet opening (9). The neck part (8) has an external screw thread (11) on which a closure cap can be screwed. According to the invention, the layers (3, 6, 5) of the multilayer tube head (2) are pressed one by one into the upper end of the pipe body (1). |
