The arrangement has containers (7) for trolleys (6) and a circulating closed conveyor system for moving them between upper and lower decks. The conveyor system comprises elements (8) located on both sides of the container (2) and may be in the form of toothed belts, chains, rollers or roller bands. The elements of the conveyor system can be arranged horizontally as well as vertically. A facility (9) is provided for stowing and withdrawing the trolleys (6). USE/ADVANTAGE - In-flight catering for aircraft. A large number of trolleys can be used without taking up much space.
