EXHAUST GAS FLOW STRAIGHTENING DEVICE FOR COMBUSTOR

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of a combustor by installing a baffle plate which has a gradually increaseing exhaust gas passage area as it is distant from an exhaust gas intake port within an exhaust gas passage connected with a combustion chamber. CONSTITUTION:A baffle plate 7 is installed to the internal part of an exhaust gas take out side flow passage 6 communicated with an air preheating heat exchanger 2. The baffle plate 7 has a plurality of disk holes 10 bored in its peripheral direction except for the parts under an exhaust gas take out hole 9. The disk holes 10 are formed so that their sizes may be increased as they are distant from the exhaust gas take out hole 9. This construction makes it possible to inhibit variations of a flow rate in its peripheral direction and hence improve the efficiency of a combustor.
