<p>A video image creation system includes a store for a video image (44) and a control image store (46). A manually operable means (34) provides a patch of data signals and these are compared with a corresponding patch in the control image store (46). The contents of the control image store are altered in dependence on the result of the comparison with each pixel in the patch. An image modifying means (32) receives the video image data in response to the data signals stored in the patch. The thus modified video image is displayed on a display means (40).</p> |
