The invention relates to an interior light (1) for motor vehicles, with a light glass (5) locked by way of a locking device and a locking means which can release the lock. The light has a housing (2) which is subdivided into a plurality of compartments (3, 4), each of which is covered by separate light glasses (5, 6). On the partition wall (7) between the compartments (3, 4) a two-armed lever (12) is fitted running parallel to the partition wall (7), which runs approximately parallel to a side edge of a light glass. In the area of the first lever arm (14) this lever (12) has a projection (16) directed into the interior of the compartment, which lies below a bottom edge of the light glass (5). The lever (12), freely accessible from outside, runs between the light glasses (5, 6) covering the two compartments (3, 4) and by pressing the second lever arm (17) into the light, the projection (16) of the first lever arm strikes below the bottom edge of the light glass (5), as a result of which the latter can be removed. <IMAGE> |
