PURPOSE:To obtain a readily handleable dental porcelain kneading liquid, composed of a liquid which is a photopolymerizable or polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated compound having a refractive index and viscosity within specific ranges, and capable of improving quality and reliability and reducing cost. CONSTITUTION:A kneading liquid for dental porcelain composed of (A) a photopolymerizable compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond, a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. an alpha-diketonic or ketal-based compound), a reducing agent and a polymerization inhibitor or (B) a polymerizable compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated double bond, a tertiary amine (an organic peroxide is blended in the porcelain) or an organic halogen compound (a pyrimidinetrione derivative and an organometallic compound are blended in the porcelain) and a polymerization inhibitor and having 1.4-1.6 refractive index at 23 deg.C and 0.1 Pa.s viscosity at 23 deg.C. A solvent or an organic substance (e.g. natural wax or fats- and oil-based synthetic wax) which is a solid or semisolid at ordinary temperature or both, as desired, are further blended therewith.
