PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition with good sinterability, capable of giving internally uniform porcelain with excellent characteristics by providing such a specific composition as to contain a specific trivalent metallic ion and control the content of Zn therein to a required value. CONSTITUTION:The objective porcelain composition of the formula with X, Y and Z each limiting the composition range satisfying the values described as follows: X+Y=1; 0.3<=X<=1; 0.7<=Y<=0; 0<=Z<=1. The reason why the X and Y have been limited as mentioned above are: if X is <0.3 and Y>0.7, the present porcelain composition will be significant in the degradation in the Q-value and also become larger in the degradation in the temperature coefficient; on the contrary, when X is >1 and Y being 0, the improving effect for the Q-value will not be seen. Furthermore, by limiting the Z-value as described above, the temperature coefficient for resonance wave number can be selected at one's discretion. |
