VISCOUS FLUID FOR COUPLING

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject fluid capable of preventing thermal decomposition and gelation and having an improved stability and durability by combining a phosphorus-based abrasion-resistant agent with a sulfur-based abrasion-resistant agent and a zinc thiophosphate-based abrasion-resistant agent and adding the resultant combined abrasion-resistant agent to a base oil consisting of an organopolysiloxane. CONSTITUTION:To (A) a base oil consisting of an organopolysiloxane represented by the formula [R is 1-18C (halogenated)hydrocarbon; n is integer of 1-3000], (B) 0.001-5wt.% (preferably 0.01-2wt.%) abrasion-resistant agent prepared by combining (i) a phosphorus-based abrasion-resistant agent such as benzyl phenyl phosphate with (ii) a sulfur-based abrasion-resistant agent such as diphenyl sulfide and/or a zinc thiophosphate-based abrasion-resistant agent such as a zinc primary-alkyl thiophosphate is added, thus obtaining the objective fluid.
