PURPOSE:To stably form images many times by forming a resin coating layer to two-layer constitution consisting of an inside layer and an outside layer, incorporating a conductive metal into the inside layer, using a low-surface energy resin as the resin of the outside layer and using inorg. fine particles treated by ammonium salt-modified polysiloxane together with coloring particles in a toner. CONSTITUTION:This developer consists of the coating carrier provided with the resin coating layer consisting of the two layers; the inside layer consisting of a resin into which the conductive metal powder and/or conductive metal oxide powder is incorporated and the outside layer consisting of the low-surface energy resin and the toner contg. the coloring particles and the inorg. fine particles treated by the ammonium salt-modified polysiloxane on the surface of magnetic material particles. The electrostatic charge potential of a photosensitive body is low and the images are formed stably many times without generating fogging and toner splashing by the synergistic effect of the coating carrier and the toner even when this developer is applied to a developing process in which the circumferential speed of a developing sleeve in a developing nip part and the circumferential speed of the photosensitive body are approximately the same. |
