INTELLIGENT INTERFACE FOR MEMORY DEVICES ON A MAGNETIC TAPE

The interface is applied in memory devices of a magnetic tape with formatted data. It accelerates operational speed and ensures a management regime with multiplexor and apparent rims. It also allows the automatic recognition of the recordable density of the holder in a reading mode from the very beginning of the tape. The interface consists of two microprocessors. Its incoming and outgoing highways are connected with receivers and transmitters attached to, respectively: the rims that recognize the signals; the multiplexor rims that recognize orders and status; and the multiplexor rims for recorded and read data.
