PURPOSE:To provide a polyester composition having excellent transparency and antistaticity by compounding a sulfonate metal soft compound and a specific metal element in speficied amounts, respectively with a polyester. CONSTITUTION:100 pts.wt. of a polyester (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate) is compounded with (A) 0.01-20 pts.wt., preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a sulfonic and metal soft compound of the formula [R is alkyl, alkylaryl, aryl; M is alkali (earth) metal; m is 1 or 1/2] or a sulfonic acid metal salt derivative containing 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.01-5wt.%, of are kind or more of metal elements selected from alkali (earth) metals different from the metal element of the compound, Mn, Zn and Co and (B) 0.01-20 pts.wt., preferably 0.5-8 pts.wt., of a polyoxyalkylene glycol to provide the objective composition. |
