REACTIVE ORGANIC FILLER AND THE USE THEREOF

An organic filler is in the form of a solid powder prepared by non-radical polymerisation. The filler comprises reactive double bonds which are not extractable with solvents in an amount (as determined by the DSC method) of at least 0.5 nmoles/g of the organic filler material. The polymer comprises the reaction product of active hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylates with isocyanates in an OH-group to NCO-group ratio of approximately 1:1, at least one of the monomers being at least trifunctional. In one embodiment the isocyanate is triisocyanate.
