摘要 <p>The invention refers to an autogenous grinding process of ores with great variations in granularity, hardness, and with possible clay content, applied, especially, in preparation plants that do not have sorting installations by size of ore boulders with which autogenous mills are supplied. The process, according to the invention, consists in introducing in a continuous flux of ore mixed with water with a hardness of about 70...90% of the maximum possible hardness of the type of ore for processing, with this mixture loading at optimal capacity and then the autogenous grinding takes place at a speed of the mill of 80...85% of the critical speed, the value of the chosen speed being maintained constant, while the total flow is adjusted as well as the solid-liquid ratio of the intake mixture, until at evacuation the prescribed values of the parameters are obtained regarding flow, density and turbidity thinness, and then, after setting the solid-liquid ratio of the mixture the flows corresponding to this ratio are maintained constant for any quality of the ore for grinding, and, at the same time, depending on the weight of the mill in each moment of the grinding process the speed of the mill is varied proportionally to the value of the existing weight.</p>
