PURPOSE:To permit the drive of a bicycle with high efficiency by constituting a bicycle device so that one pedal is speedily returned to an operation start position during the time when the other pedal is operated, by the combination of the left and right crank gears, left and right constant speed gears, constant speed gear and a drive gear. CONSTITUTION:The left and right crank gears 1 and 9 revolved through the left and right cranks 19 and 20 are formed from the left and right crank large diameter gears 2 and 10 and the left and right crank small diameter gears 3 and 11, and the left and right constant speed gears 5 and 13 are formed from the left and right constant speed large diameter gears 6 and 14 and the left and right constant speed small diame ter gears 7 and 15. The left and right crank large diameter gears 2 and 10 are meshed with the left and right constant speed small diameter gears 7 and 15 during the time when a pedal is operated, and the left and right crank small diameter gears 3 and 11 are meshed with the left and right constant speed large diameter gears 6 and 14 during the return of the pedal to an operation start position from a terminal position. Then, a drive gear 16 is meshed with a constant speed gear 18 fixed on a constant speed gear shaft 8, together with the left and right constant speed gears 5 and 13. |
