PURPOSE:To allow the easy execution of performance contg. fill-in by providing a fill-in assigning part in code sequence data and reading out the fill-in pattern stored in a 1st memory means at the time of assigning the fill-in. CONSTITUTION:A ROM 4 has a code sequence data memory part 42 and an automatic pattern data memory part 43. The code sequence data (CDSQDT) is stored in the code sequence data memory part 42 and the automatic pattern data memory part 43 stores the normal patter and fill-in pattern for automatic accompaniment. The fill-in assigning part is previously provided in the code sequence data and the fill-in performance is executed by reading out the fill-in pattern stored in the automatic pattern data memory part 43 of the ROM 4. The performance contg. the fill-in is easily executed in this way.
