The invention relates to a building slab which is particularly suitable for use as a façade slab. The building slab according to the invention exhibits a cement-based carcass slab and a copper or copper alloy covering which is cemented, with polyethene-based cement, to one or to each of the large surfaces of this carcass slab, which surfaces have been treated with primer, such that the joint layer between this covering and the surface of the cement-based carcass slab constitutes a moisture barrier and a reinforcement for the surface layer of the carcass slab.
