PURPOSE:To form an air convection layer and unify the bulb temperature by forming at least one opening section on a reflecting shade on the back portion of a gap between adjacent straight tube sections so as to be extended in the longitudinal direction of a bulb. CONSTITUTION:The center section of the top face of a reflecting shade 5 is notched to provide three rectangular opening sections 7. The opening sections 7 are arranged to match the back portion of a gap 8 between two bulbs 2, 2 of a compact type fluorescent lamp 1 and extended in the longitudinal direction of the bulbs 2. When the reflecting shade 5 with such a structure is used for a ceiling lamp installed so that the fluorescent lamp is horizontally lighted, an rising air layer due to heat radiation is formed in the gap 8 between two bulbs 2, 2. Inner surfaces of the bulbs 2, 2 are cooled, the temperature of the bulbs 2, 2 is unified, and the occurrence of bulb cracks due to the thermal expansion difference can be prevented. |
