PURPOSE:To improve image characteristics and repetition characteristics by laminating an electrostatic charge injection layer contg. zinc oxide, a charge transfer layer contg. a pyrazoline compd., a charge generating layer contg. a charge generating material, and a transparent insulating layer in succession on a conductive substrate. CONSTITUTION:A charge injection layer 2 contg. zinc oxide, a charge transfer layer 3 contg. a pyrazoline compd., a charge generating layer 4 contg. a charge generating material, such as pyrylium dye or phthalocyanine type pigment, and a transparent insulating layer 5 made of PE, polystyrene, polybutylene terephthalate, or the like are laminated in this order on a conductive substrate, e.g., a paper or plastic film coated with vapor deposited metal, such as Al, Ni, or Cr. In this case, the charge transfer layer 3 and the charge generating layer 4 function as a photoconductive layer. |
