PURPOSE:To make it possible to process a difference between the magnetic formats of magnetic cards by storing magnetic format information in a card information file in each digit, and at the time of reading out the contents of a magnetic card, retrieving the card information file. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic stripe developing processing part 1 reads out magnetic information from the magnetic card and decomposes and developers the read magnetic information to the table of each digit. A magnetic stripe information edition checking processing part 2 retrieves the card information file in which fixed information, magnetic format information, effective conditions, inherent information, and handling information are set up by using an individual code individually set up in each card sort on the specific position of the magnetic information of the magnetic card as a key, and when the key concerned exists, the editing processing of the card information is executed. A card handling information developing processing part 3 develops the card handling information stored in the card information file only in the usable card. Consequently, the difference between the magnetic formats of cards can easily be processed. |
