PURPOSE:To simplify a rotating state and a discriminating method by using a rise or fall edge to be obtained from the change of the thickness of a rotationally moving plate, for discrimination. CONSTITUTION:When a rotationally moving plate 1 is rotated, then the sensor output signal 2a of a waveform according to the change of thickness is obtained from a thickness sensor 2. By differintiating the signal 2a via a differentiating circuit 4, the pulse 4a of a rese or a fall according to the signal 2a detected at the the thickness switch section 1d of the rotationally moving plate 1 is detected and is applied to a discriminating circuit 11. In the discriminating circuit 11, forward rotation signal 7 can be obtained by applying the pulse 4a of input provided from the differentiating circuit 4, directly to a monostable multivibrator 51 for detecting the fall edge of the pulse. Besides, by applying it to another monostable multivibrator 52 via the pulse 4a and an inversion element lo, reversed rotation signal 8 can be obtained. |
