<p>PURPOSE:To automatically judge it whether a power-supply device is out of order or not, or whether a fault is generated due to another situation or not, by re-starting the power-supply device after a specified time, to operate it as it is if it is in a normal state, and by stopping it if an abnormal state is detected, to re-start it. CONSTITUTION:When an abnormal state is detected in a power-supply device, then the device is stopped, and by a timer 77, a latch circuit 75 is reset after a specified setting time, and the operation of the device is re-started. If any abnormal state is not detected after re-starting the operation, the device is continuously operated as it is. When any abnormal state is detected and the abnormal state is repeatedly detected in the time of a timer circuit 79, then the counting of a counter circuit 78 is increased, and when it comes to specified frequency, then it is judged to be the fault of the power-supply device, and the output of fault signal is directed to an operation/stop circuit 76. Once it is judged that the fault is generated, the power-supply device is not re-started and is continuously stopped. As a result, the power-supply device can be miniaturized, and the cost can be reduced.</p> |
