PURPOSE:To prevent a shift shock from occurring even in any running state by installing a means which changes and determines a timer value for timing of commanding a speed change in dependence on the driving conditions of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A timer value for delaying a shift command is set in dependence on those of gear ratio, car speed, engine speed, throttle opening, engine load (on-off of an air conditioner or the like) and each angle of both upward and downward slopes and so on. Since the timer value is set according to various driving conditions like that, a point of time when engine speed in an input system synchronizes with that in an output system is accurately grasped, thus any shift shock will not occur at all. |
