This caravan, which includes a photovoltaic energy generator, includes, at its upper part and in the region of the front and rear walls, means in the form of hinges 4 intended to connect structures 2 carrying the photovoltaic modules 3 so that these structures can be pivoted about the axis of the means in the form of hinges, as well as means 5 serving to fix the said structures in a position pivoted about the said axis, and two housings 7, 8 separated from the rest of the caravan, accessible from the outside by means of hatches 9, 10 and serving to house gas bottles and accumulator batteries.
